At Oh My Sitter, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle data.

1. Data Collection

For parents, we collect mobile number and name for account registration. For sitters, we collect name, gender, date of birth, nationality, service area, profile photo, languages spoken, about me description, availability, experience levels, and verification documents (National ID/Passport, selfies, experience reference details, certificates).

2. Phone Number Disclosure Gating

A sitter's mobile phone number is protected. It is only shared on the public directory profile page to parents who are authenticated and logged into the platform. Non-logged-in guest visitors cannot access sitter phone numbers.

3. Verification and Certificate Files

Government ID scans, passport files, and experience reference documents uploaded by sitters are strictly confidential. They are only viewed by platform administrators for vetting purposes and are never exposed publicly or shared with third parties. Only the approved badges (e.g. Identity Verified) are shown publicly.

4. Report Confidentiality

Parent reviews and safety reports are handled with high privacy. Safety reports against sitter profiles are entirely confidential. Reported sitters are never notified of the report, the reporter's identity, or the evidence submitted.
